With just a few weeks to go this year we wrap up 2022 with a flurry of new brands, products, and success stories. Probably the biggest change since our last newsletter has been the growing lead times for kit. For most of Covid we faired ok with lead times as our supplier base was diverse enough to offer alternatives across most solutions. However now we are seeing extended lead times across many of the brands we support. This is frustrating customers and for that we apologise. Lead time, stocking holding, and cash flow are probably the three hardest parts to running a business in 2022 so we understand the frustrations as well.
In terms of business, we have defiantly seen a slowdown in the time it is taking jobs to be won. Our lead generation and win rate has not changed just the time it is taking customers to hit go! It is challenging and given the state of the economy with interest rates and cost of living it is no surprise people are hanging on just a little bit longer before making a decision.
At the start of the year, I predicted it would be a bit of a re-set with time to take-stock of where we are and where we want to be. This is exactly how it has played out with time to add additional staff, work on systems and process’s ready for another push in 2023.
To all of our customers, our brand partners, staff and my family, thank you so much for everything you have given this year. It’s great to see the sun shining finally here in Sydney, it certainly lifts the mood after a very wet 2022.

We would like to welcome my daughter Mackenzie Owen who joins us as a Marketing Assistant. Mackenzie only just finished her HSC a few months ago so this is her first full time job. She will work alongside myself, our social media person and our PR agency to market and promote the business.

Calrec ImPulse 1
The ImPulse1 IP engine is a smaller, yet powerful cost-effective version of the industry-established ImPulse.ImPulse1 features include a 1U enclosure as well as dual AC PSUs. Kiloview Cube R1 Recorder

Motorsport Headset Range
Over the last six months we have been developing a new range of headsets to suit high noise applications like motorsport. These new units will come with built in multi-channel audio boards, connection for up to three devises per side and a brand new noise cancelling microphone capsule.
Available in both the Raytalk RAN-3000 or Riedel MAX series these will be available from February 2023 with multiple connectivity options.

Rentals Update
Our inventory of Hytera, Riedel, GreenGo and Clear Com kit has been busy servicing a number of our existing customers across the Broadcast, Production, Security and Government sectors.
2023 will see us double our Bolero fleet plus introduce Riedel Artist 1024 frames and a complete Clear Com matrix system. On the radio front the new Hytera HP682’s are now the radio of choice across many customers offering their audio profile management to suit different accessories.
PR Update
Honestly, we are just so blessed to have such great projects to be able to share with our audience. Early in the new year we will be able to talk about a brand new NDI Broadcast Studio which we have just completed! In the mean time here is a great story on how we have looked after Ash Seward Motorsport.
