The Green-GO switchGBx 18 addresses the challenge of handling a combination of data protocols that could overwhelm and saturate commercially-available network switches.
With the switchGBX 18, setting up VLAN trunking and fast redundant loops becomes effortless. Creating virtual networks that can communicate with each other through trunking connections is extremely simple. This capability enables smooth traffic flow between devices on different networks. By establishing loops between two or multiple devices, the GreenGO switchGBX 18 eliminates delays and device redundancy. In the event of a connection failure between two devices, the configuration automatically reroutes the traffic through an alternate path because every device is part of a loop.
The Green-GO switchGBx 18 boasts 16 Ethernet ports with speeds of up to 1GB, as well as 2 SFP cages for fibre optic connections capable of speeds up to 2.5Gbps. The front panel Ethernet ports support PoE and are equipped with RGB LED status indicators.
