RFoF Up to 6.0GHz
These broad-spectrum solutions are RFoF links with built-in controlled Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and step attenuators which can be programmed with RFOptic configuration USB software. This allows the user to modify the channel Gain, P1dBc compression point and Noise Figure (NF). The Noise Figure of these links can be as low as 5dB. The transmitter (Tx) and Receiver (Rx) modules are quite small and fit into the palm of a hand. Within enclosures the modules can be monitored and controlled remotely with RFOptic’s unique SNMP/HTML/REST interfaces.
RFoF HSFDR Up To 40GHz
These RF over Fiber transmitters and receivers are compact modules covering from under 100MHz up to 40 GHz and beyond. Features include increased RF gain, high P1dB or low noise figure achieved by design and/or pre and post RF amplifiers. In enclosures RFoF links can be configured as unidirectional or bidirectional.
Options include our HSFDR Mini L Series of 12GHz RFoF and 18GHz RFoF, 20GHz RFoF, 30GHz RFoF, and 40GHz RFoF with improved noise figure.
RFoF Subsystem For 5G Subsystems
Our proven 5G offerings (using fiber optic transmissions) meet the growing demand of our customers to support their 5G deployments and developments such as active remote antennas for base stations, coax cables replacement in test facilities, and 5G telecommunication network testing. In addition, we identified the need for 5G as a DAS extension solution when the cable solution cannot meet the required system parameters.
RFoF indoor/ Outdoor End-to-End solutions
We offer subsystems that include diverse enclosures (indoor, outdoor, or mixed) supporting multiple RFoF links with monitoring and management capabilities. Our subsystems are operating up to 40 GHz with remote management SNMP/HTML/REST capabilities offered for most products. We offer a variety of indoor and outdoor enclosures in different sizes and capacities. All our enclosures can be controlled remotely and are available with an IFL link which uses a fiber pair to control remote units through the local enclosure. The IFL feature provides an Ethernet extender facility that can be used to deliver IP traffic to the remote site.
ODL Up To 40GHz
RFOptic provides any fixed time delay between 1ns and 250μs (fixed). Under special request, fixed delays above 250μs can also be provided. Most of customers prefer progressive ODL architecture which can provide 2n states. That is a cost effective and compact solution which reduces the number of delay segments while increasing the number of available delay values.
The ODL may be operated as a standalone unit manually controlled from the front panel screen and keys. It can also be controlled externally using a USB or Web based interfaces including REST and HTML.
RADAR Altimeter Test
Our high frequency RADAR Altimeter Test provides a high-performance solution for testing and calibrating RADAR Altimeter systems. It enabled the user to replicate the landing and taking off of planes with real-time accuracy for training pilots. The customized Optical Delay Line solution with high-resolution delay steps “tricks” a flight simulator’s altimeter to think it is flying in the air, including taking off and landing scenarios.
