Monthly Update – September 2020

August at D2N – Technology Solutions was a real mixture of diverse customers and solutions delivered. The long standing impact of Covid 19 seems to be slowly retreating with jobs we have had in the pipeline for several months now converting. This is great news not just for us and our partners; but for the broader business community who for many are still reeling from a huge loss of income. As I keep on preaching, ‘eyesforward’!

Sales

On the sales side we have seen steady growth in sale of the Kiloview range of encoders and decoders with multiple Broadcasters and AV companies taking up their products including MyEvent, Sky Sports, Magic Millions and Double Take Sports to name a few. Kiloview offer standalone and rack mount NDI and IP encoders and decoders with options for PoE, internal batteries, or DC power. Connectivity options include ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G so regardless of how you want to get from A to B we have a solution!

One we are really excited about is our delivery of AIDA HD-100 cameras to Parliament House in Canberra. AIDA offer a range of POV and PTZ SDI, HDMI, IP and NDI camera’s along with their own range of lenses. D2N supports the entire range of AIDA products including the new HD-NDI-200.

Communication

In communications we signed a large agreement with one of Australia’s premium freight logistics companies for a Hytera PoC solution with the HYTALK Poc App. This includes the PDC760 LTE/DMR hybrid radio and VM780 4G enabled Body Camera for their teams across Australia.

Our solution will deliver a huge improvement in communication, workflow management and staff welfare whilst bringing them right to the forefront of technology. If you have a team that is spread out around the city, state, country or world we can design and deliver a communications solution to suit your needs!

Long term customer Level Horizons also increased their DMR radio fleet for their QLD operations with more PD362’s and PD462’s.

Keeping variety in check we also delivered a medium sized Motorola CLP117 solution for the Lake Rd Veterinary facility in Wagga Wagga. Talking with the owner Dr Alex, we chatting through what she needed the solution to achieve with Bluetooth being one of those features she felt would really make a difference along with something that was really lightweight and reliable. The Motorola CLP177 was a straightforward answer all of those requirements.

Motorsport

In Motorsport we have delivered a range of Nexus adaptors and wiring components to the MTech team in Sweden along radio systems and headsets for local Porsche, Toyota 87 and Hyundai teams.
